Break up emails
The final email a prospect receives about a deal.
Breakup emails are the final email prospects receives about a deal, where you let the recipient know they won’t hear from you again: We haven't heard from you in a while and we don't want to bother you, so we're going to assume you're no longer interested in ______.
These emails stand out because prospects respond positively more often than other generic follow-ups. For example, saying they're interested but just too busy to carry on the conversation until a certain date.
If they don’t respond to the break up email then the deal is assumed dead. You can continue to follow up in the future by checking in, but those should be spaced out over many months and more general in nature.
Breakup emails should be a common tool for any sales teams.
