Burnout
When sales reps lose motivation and production.
Burnout is a state in which sales professionals lose motivation and production, usually due to constant, long exposure to stress. Many sales reps experience burnout at some point in their careers, and for some, it can be fixed with a great vacation. Others need to change their company or leave the field.
Burnout could be a sign that sales isn’t for you, but it’s more likely a result of bad sales management, shoddy efficiency and over-reliance on reps, or too many hours / not enough vacation.
