Business-to-business (B2B) Sales
One business selling to another business
B2B sales is short for business-to-business sales. Predictably, this means one business selling to another business. B2B is the counterpart to B2C sales, in which business sell to consumers.
Business-to-business sales are typically higher revenue, involve longer sales cycles, and require more skilled sales reps than B2C sales. Generally speaking, it’s easier for a B2B rep to move into B2C sales compared to a B2C rep moving into B2C sales.
