Commission type

How commissions are calculated.

Commissions are usually calculated using one of the following commission types:

Percentage of revenue — based on % of revenue sold
Percentage of profit — based on % of gross profit (or margin)
Bonuses — fixed incentive awarded when reps meet a specific goal or objective
Tiered — pays a higher commission percentage the more a rep sells
