Conversion rate

The percentage of leads that convert to the next step

A conversion rate measures the rate in which a lead converts to a specific goal. It may measure the conversion rate from a website lead to a specific goal (e.g. click on a CTA) or the rate in which leads convert to the next step in the prospecting process, sales process, or into an active customer.

Conversion rates should be monitored by all sales and marketing teams as important key performance indicators (KPIs.)
