Email response rate
The percentage of outbound emails that receive a response.
An email response rate is the percentage of emails that receive a response. Different companies (and CRMs) track these differently, but generally the response rate only includes positive or neutral responses. In other words, people who respond with “unsubscribe” or with an automated out-of-office responder shouldn’t be factored into this figure.
All companies who do email prospecting need to track response rate and A/B test new email copy to improve it.
