Inbound prospecting
Responding to inbound leads who engage you.
Prospecting means to engage potential customers or “leads,” and inbound prospecting is responding to inbound leads who engage you, usually as a result of marketing or advertising.
Inbound prospecting places a larger emphasis on Qualifying, whereas targeting is more important to outbound prospecting. Leads are typically considered “hot” since they’re showing interest and therefore time-sensitive.
Inbound prospecting is necessary for companies with inbound leads.
