Meaningful conversations

Any discussion with a lead about their problems or potential solutions.

A meaningful conversation is any phone call or back-and-forth email/messaging where we speak to a point of contact about their problems or potential solutions, regardless of if the end result is an appointment, disqualification, or bad fit.

Meaningful conversations are a common secondary prospecting goal since they demonstrate relationship building and increase the likelihood of future sales.

Any companies series about building healthy sales pipelines, especially in relationship-driven industries, should take the time to properly define meaningful conversations and set up a transparent way of tracking them.
