Any type of arrangement where other businesses earn commissions from you for referring leads or customers. Affiliate programs and reseller programs are both examples of partner programs.

Partner programs are valuable for companies looking to expand their revenue streams. They’re especially useful with partners who already have “access” to your target customers (e.g. current customer) and trying to improve their own service offering.
