A good job post is concise, transparent and informative.

A good job post is concise, transparent and has these sections:

• Company— short explanation of your company and what you sell
• Role — detailed explanation of the job’s duties, expectations and daily grind
• Candidate description — bulleted qualities and experiences you’re looking for
• Offer — reasons why candidates would want this job
• Compensation — a salary range and mention of commissions

Never sugarcoat a sales role when posting jobs. If you under-promise and hope to over-deliver, it may take longer to find candidates but will still likely save you time and money in the long run.
