Sales methodology

Framework or set of principles to guide your sales approach.

A sales methodology is a framework or set of principles to guide your sales approach, such as Challenger, Sandler or Solution Selling.

A formal sales methodology is more important in B2B sales or complex/expensive sales, where you can’t “freestyle” your sales approach and expect great results.

Sales methodologies aren’t necessary with product sales under $100 or most B2C sales situations.
