Sales Operations Rep

Helps sales reps with repetitive operational tasks

Operations reps are responsible for saving sales reps time spent on common, repetitive tasks. Their goal is to remove “busy work” so sales reps can focus on selling.

Examples of common sales ops tasks include:

-Sending paperwork and collecting signatures
-Sending invoices and arranging payments
-Following up
-Researching
-Targeting and finding contact information
-Communicating with internal teams (shipping, product, etc)

Some ops reps may also act as “junior” sales reps who sell to well-established customers who buy frequently and are managed by a senior sales rep.

After automating and simplifying tasks, most sales teams need an operations rep or VA if sales rep still spend more than 20% of their time on operational and administrative tasks.
