A sales process is a step by step process for turning prospects into customers.
The sales process begins after a lead has been generated from Prospecting, or in some cases, once they’ve been qualified. This lead becomes a Prospect and now enters the sales pipeline.

A good sales process is:
• Written
• Efficient
• Transparent
• Enforced

Every sales organization needs a sales process and deal stages.
