Sales responsibilities

Duties, quotas and targets.

The three types of sales responsibilities are:
• Duties — high-level activities each rep needs to perform regularly
• Quotas — performance numbers reps must meet
• Targets — performance goals that trigger bonuses

Duties explain what to do, quotas say how much you need to do some duties, and targets are typically goals with financial incentives to reps who achieve them.
