Sequence

Prewritten and consecutive emails or messages sent automatically.

Email or message sequences contain a set number of emails and are sent automatically according to a predetermined schedule, once a trigger event occurs. Sequences end once the lead responds or the final message is sent.

Sequences are different from email templates, which are sent manually and sometimes with customization. Dedicated prospecting tools are the best budget option for sending automated sequences, or a mid-tier CRM.

All sales teams should be using some forms of email sequences for prospecting, follow up, onboarding and beyond.
