Straight Line Persuasion
A sales methodology revolving around quick, efficient sales calls.
Straight Line Persuasion is all about maintaining control of each interaction by leading the prospect in a "straight line" right towards the sale. It’s used by sales reps who need to rip through a high number of calls per day.
The three tenets to Straight Line Persuasion are:
1. Develop rapport quickly
2. Gather intelligence (qualify) quickly
3. Control the interaction
Straight Line Persuasion isn’t used much as a formal methodology, but this is the typical strategy of elite sales reps in logistics, finance or any other volume-dependent industries where reps need to make as many calls per day as possible.
