Targets
Performance goals that trigger bonuses.
Targets are performance or activity “stretch” goals that trigger bonuses. These are often slightly higher than quotas, and achieving them means going above and beyond.
Companies who don’t already provide a financial incentive for achieving quotas should add targets. Quotas typically mean nothing to sales reps; providing a financial incentive in the form of a target helps align company and rep goals.
