Writing cold emails
The four key components when writing cold emails are a subject, introduction, body and call to action.
If you’re creating email copy yourself, here are the four components of a good cold email and the goal of each component:
• Subject - goal is to get them to open the email
• Introduction - goal is to get them to continue reading
• Body - goal is to explain what benefit you can give the reader
• Call to Action - goal is to convert them to your conversion goal, e.g. schedule a demo
With hyper-personalized emails only the introduction must be customized for each lead; all other components can be templated.
The process of creating good emails with those four components is:
1. Create concepts for email sequence
2. Create concepts for each email in the sequence
3. Write copy for each email in the sequence
4. (Optional) Research & write hyper-personalized introduction
