Base pay

Salary, or minimum guaranteed earnings.

This is a sales rep’s guaranteed salary or draw.

Base salary is impacted primarily by job requirements, such as being fully remote vs. requiring in-office work in an expensive city or requiring travel. Other factors that determine how much salary is paid include: benefits, ease of earning commissions, experience or technical knowledge required, etc.
