Mirroring

Acting or speaking in the same way as your prospect.

Mirroring means acting or speaking in the same way as your prospect in an attempt to minimize social barriers. The goal is to get past the initial barrier that every human has. You need to get the prospect to connect with you. People buy from people they trust, and they’re more likely to trust someone who acts like them. One of the easiest ways to do this is by mirroring a client’s tone, rate of speech, or body language.
